First, make sure to wash your broccoli. Second, cut the stems off. You will notice that they will fall apart naturally. So this part won’t be so hard for you to do.

After that, place the broccoli in a roasting pan and spray in some oil. Then add some black pepper. Finally, put it inside the oven and let it roast for about fifteen to twenty minutes at the temperature of 425.

Once that’s done, you’re going to notice some dark edges on the broccoli. Don’t worry about then because according to Mandi, those burned edges actually taste good.

Mandi recommends that you squeeze some fresh lemon juice over the broccoli to brighten up the flavor. When your roasted broccoli is done, you can pair it up with Nutrisystem’s Roasted Turkey Medallions.

Make Your Chicken Pot Pie More Exciting With Sauteed Spinach

The Chicken Pot Pie of Nutrisystem is one of their best tasting meals. However, you could get sick and tired of eating it every single day; right?

Great addition to any of your meals it takes literally less than 5 minutes to prepare … First you just put a little bit, maybe, a teaspoon of olive oil in the pan. Let that heat up just a little bit and then dump the spinach into the pot. You can do this and sections. You don’t need to put it all in if it won’t fit. Then just start stirring it around. Add a little bit of fresh cracked pepper and a little bit of salt … As it begins to wilt, you can just add some more of the fresh spinach in to get it all in there … now you can start to see now that the spinach is almost cooked … all the leaves are wilted down and turned a bright green.

That ‘s that time you take the spinach off the heat. You can pair your sautéed spinach with Nutrisystem’s Chicken Pot Pie, which also takes just a couple of minutes to cook.

Level Up Your Chicken Parmesan With Spaghetti Squash

The Chicken Parmesan of Nutrisystem already comes with some spaghetti noodles but if you could add some more, why not? This video features a low-carb alternative to your spaghetti noodles.

If you’re looking to cut carbs spaghetti squash is a great way. It has the look and feel of real spaghetti. We’re going to show you how to prepare it. So the first thing you’re going to do is just cut the spaghetti squash in half. Second, what you want to do is to scoop out these seeds.  This might remind you of cutting a pumpkin during Halloween. Scoop it into the bowl. After you get the seeds out, you’re just going to move it over to a cookie sheet. Spray it with a little cooking spray and sprinkle it with fresh cracked pepper and a little bit of salt. Roast in the oven at 350 for about 45 minutes.

Take a fork on the sides of the squash and really just pull down.

That will give some nice strands of what looks like spaghetti noodles, without the carbs. You can pair your spaghetti squash with Nutrisystem’s Chicken Parmesan. That is one good way to substitute your pasta.

Chicken & BBQ Baked Beans Tastes A Lot Better With Mashed Cauliflower

If you’re a potato lover, here’s another low-carb alternative. You can actually replace your usual mashed potatoes with some cauliflower. You still get the same taste but mashed cauliflower is a lot healthier and has lesser carbs. Take a look at this video and see how it’s done.

Mashed cauliflower is actually very easy to make. First, cut off the leafy greens and the stalk of the cauliflower. Then cut the cauliflower into chunks or pieces just so you can throw it into a pot of boiling water. Boil the cauliflower for about five to eight minutes.

Once the pieces of cauliflower are soft enough from boiling, it’s all set to be mashed. Before doing so, add in  a tablespoon of butter and add in some reduced fat milk as well. Then go right ahead and mash your cauliflower away.

You can use a fork or a hand masher to mash the cauliflower. So you don’t really need any special equipment to have some yummy mashed cauliflower.
