Party’s over! It’s a new year, a new beginning. And yes! It’s that time of the year when resolutions are made. After pigging out during the holidays, your guilt is building up. Top that off with regret (probably).
You have to get down to serious business. You have to burn all those calories. You had stuffed yourself over the holidays. You need to get back in shape.
5. Sugar Overload
You ate all those goodies? Oh wow! Talk about sugar overload. You couldn’t help it, right? The holiday season made you do it. There was just too much of everything. You just couldn’t stay away. There was grandma’s pie. (You just couldn’t stay away from that!) Then mom’s cookies were everywhere. (How could you have resisted those?)
You just couldn’t believe the abundant display of sweet goodies. They’re only around once a year. So why not grab everything … and you did. Ouch! So stop having second thoughts. It’s high time you got back to your diet. Related read: Men are discovering success with Nutrisystem
4. Too Much Christmas Ham?
Yes! You probably had a little too much of grandma’s ham as well. Now you’re down with the leftovers. And you still want to feast on them. You’re promising to get back to your diet but the leftovers are tempting you. You’re going to start your diet soon as all the leftovers are gone.
Come on! You know for a fact that if you don’t start now, you’ll never get to start at all. Stop procrastinating. Start now! Stay away from the ham (and the other leftovers) and start now. Related read: Lose those pounds with Nutrisystem frozen food
3. You Feel Heavy
You just had the time of your life. You ate and enjoyed everything that was there. It was definitely a Merry Christmas. But in your own quiet moments, you’re feeling it. You can’t deny the feeling of heaviness. (You really ate too much!) Related read: Reviews of Nutrisystem diet for weight loss
You had stopped your workouts temporarily. (Come on…who had time to workout?) At the same time, you went overboard with your eating. (Come on….who didn’t?) But no matter how much you justify your holiday eating, you just can’t deny this. You feel heavy. Probably even too heavy. That should be enough of a reason for you to get back to shape. You just got to do it now.
2. Is That You?
After all the parties, your friends are now posting photos online. Oh my! You’re being tagged all the time. Your inbox is full of notices from your social media accounts. At first, you’re excited to see all the photos. (Come on, who doesn’t love seeing themselves in photos?)
But after seeing one photo after another, you want to stop. OMG! Is that you? You’re not just feeling heavy. You’re looking it as well. Oh no! You’re feeling really bad now. The guilt, the regret, and now the misery! They’re all setting in. Shouldn’t that be enough reason for you to lose weight … now? Related read: Save big with this Nutrisystem promo
1. Your Pants Don’t Fit
The holidays are over. You’re back to work. But wait. Your pants don’t fit. OMG! Your work clothes don’t fit! Geez! What did you do? (You ate the whole ham remember?) Oh, yeah! (You ate that…among others!) Okay! Okay!
Now, you’re not just miserable. You’re panicking. What will you wear? Unfortunately, you’ve now just reached the grueling reality. You just have to lose weight now!
These reasons are more than enough for you to wake up to reality. If you’re still having second thoughts, stop! You can’t afford to have second thoughts at this point. Stop stalling. Look into the mirror. And let that speak for itself.
Reality hurts. But sometimes you need to get to that point. The good news is that you can do something about it. You can easily get back to shape. If you had been on a particular weight loss plan before the holidays, get back on it.

They don’t fit as well!)
